Pruning and Community Seminar

12-26 0f April

What You Can Expect

Join us in the beautiful Tuscan countryside for a Pruning and Community Seminar, where we will explore our true selves through cooperation and living in community.

In this seminar, you will come closer to yourself through deep listening, experience connection through living in a community, and connect with nature by acquiring the mindful skill of pruning olive trees.

Pruning olive trees involves carefully selecting branches to allow the right amount of sunlight to reach the core. It is an art that requires foreseeing the tree’s future growth over the next three years. Pruning is a vital step in maintaining the tree’s health.

As we choose the right branch to cut, our actions reflect inwardly on the importance of clarity in our lives, revealing what might be hidden under layers and bringing it to light. Another critical step in pruning is designing the tree so its fruits can be easily harvested, reflecting how we can nurture our inner growth so our gifts can mature and be shared.

A Deeper Connection: The repetition offers a sense of meditation, offering a quiet environment to meet yourself without distractions. During this process, you may encounter various emotions and inner reflections. Our communal meetings provide a space to discuss these experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of ourselves, our relationships with each other, and life itself.

Most evenings, we will gather to practice theater improvisation, participate in movement sessions (including authentic and group movement), and hold verbal meetings to discuss a topic from our day. These tools bring both depth and lightness to our meetings through play and creativity.

A Simple, Meaningful Experience: This conscious farming seminar is about more than learning a skill. It’s about connecting to yourself, becoming part of a community, enjoying the simple joys of working together, and immersing yourself every day in Tuscany’s breathtaking nature. We look forward to sharing this experience with you.
